The Facilitators

Jackie Larkin

Jackie is an educator who offers her wisdom (heart and mind) and her skills in the service of creating a socially just, peaceful and environmentally sustainable world.

For decades, she has been active in promoting women's equality; supporting the right of working people to fair and safe working conditions; and participating in initiatives to deepen and extend democratic participation.

She fell in love with the earth (again) when she reached middle age and is committed to supporting humans to grow their ecological selves and to take action on behalf of the all life. In addition to co-leading "Reconnecting to Life/The Work That Reconnects" she participates in environmental organizations, including Toxic Free Canada and Greenpeace.

For a number of years she was Education Coordinator for the BC Nurses' Union. For the past five she has worked as a consultant, designing and delivering workshops with a focus on leadership development and facilitating strategic planning processes.

In addition to facilitating Reconnecting to Life/The Work That Reconnects retreats, Jackie Larkin offers a wide range of education and consultation services.
